Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)

Last updated: December 2024

CardioMood measures blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) to provide insights into your respiratory health.

What is SpO2?

SpO2 measures the percentage of hemoglobin carrying oxygen. Normal levels are 95-100%.

How It Works

CardioMood uses red and infrared LEDs to measure light absorption through your skin. Oxygenated blood absorbs light differently than deoxygenated blood.

When SpO2 is Measured

  • Overnight: Continuous monitoring during sleep
  • On-demand: Manual spot checks
  • During activities: If enabled
